Papaya is the unexpected toast topping that will brighten your WFH breakfast

Fruit on toast might sounds unusual, but we promise you that you’ll love swapping your usual avo for in-season papaya. Add goat cheese and honey and you’ve got a healthy party on your plate.

This nutritious papaya toast recipe is a great source of protein and fibre. It’s an easy two-step dish, that’ll boost your energy levels in the morning and set you up for a productive day.

Papaya, goat cheese and honey toast

Serves 1

Prep: 2 mins


  • 1 piece sourdough bread, toasted (50g)
  • 1/4 cup or 60g crumbled goat cheese
  • 75g thinly sliced papaya
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1tbsp fresh mint, shredded


  1. Top toasted sourdough with goat cheese and papaya to taste.
  2. Drizzle over honey and sprinkle with mint to serve.
